If you ever find yourself at a party where a psychic is offering readings, pray for strength and discernment to stay away.
Talking with a psychic is having a conversation with the demonic who are speaking through her. Scripture warns that “there shall not be found among you anyone who practices divination or interprets omens or a sorcerer” (Deuteronomy 18:10). Acts 16:16 echoes this commandment against psychics.
A psychic might seem kind or caring, yet the spirits speaking through her aren’t from God. Demons mix accuracies with dangerous lies to gain your trust and draw you away from Christ.
Remember, that psychic is a person made in God’s image who’s in deep spiritual bondage. She doesn’t need customers; she needs prayer and the Gospel of Jesus Christ, who alone can set her free.
