🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 301
DATE: 28TH OCTOBER, 2025
TOPIC: WILL HE KNOW YOU?
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 25:12 (KJV)
“But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.”
Devotional Message:
This phrase may appear to be meant only for unbelievers — yet, tragically, it applies even to many who profess faith in Christ. As Christians, our identity is found in Christ. To be called His means to become Christ-like — to reflect His nature, character, and righteousness. When we truly walk in His likeness, we become heirs with Him, destined to reign together in the age to come. But how heartbreaking it will be for some who thought they knew Him to hear these dreadful words: “I know you not.”
To be rejected by Christ Himself will be more painful than any earthly rejection. Remember, Scripture warns us that “not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but only those who do the will of My Father.” (Matthew 7:21). Entrance into His eternal rest is not by mere confession — it is by righteousness, obedience, and fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
Beloved, do not waste your Christianity by merely showing up in church, singing in the choir, or serving in ministry, yet living a life that contradicts the will of God. Today, reflect on yourself:If Christ were to return right now, would you be counted worthy to enter His rest?
Do your words, actions, lifestyle, and even your dressing reflect Christ in you?
Would He recognize His image in you — or would He say, “I know you not”?
That day will separate the true from the false, the faithful from the careless, and the prepared from the unprepared. Remember, hell was not created for man but for Lucifer and his angels (Matthew 25:41). Yet those who reject the call to holiness, obedience, and repentance will share in his condemnation.
Today, you have a choice — the narrow path that leads to life, or the broad way that leads to destruction. God has given you free will, but He desires that you choose life. For He takes no delight in the death of a sinner, but rejoices when one turns from sin and lives. It is a wake-up call: Do not miss the feast of the Lamb. Strive to enter His rest while there is still time.
PRAYER:
Lord Jesus, search my heart and reveal to me any way that leads to destruction. Help me to live righteously, obey Your will, and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. May my life reflect You in word, thought, and deed, so that when You return, I may be found worthy to enter Your rest. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
