Jeremiah 29:13 NIV You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Good morning and praise God. I hope you are having a great weekend. How patient and obedient are you in your life? Jeremiah was sent to warn Israelites of their sin but they were not ready to repent. The consequence was a seventy years compulsory excile to Babylon. Among them were false prophets who they paid to prophecy lies against all this. God however confirmed His verdict through His prophet, Jeremiah, who they actually saw like an enemy and prophet of doom. In excile, they were to continue with life for those seventy years without expecting God to change His mind. After this, God would continue with His good plan for them. This would only come to the ones who would obey and be patient enough. Then , they would seek and find Him when they do it it with all their hearts. Probably you are there crying to God to change your life situation and you have even listened to messages telling you it will change soon but God is calling you for obedience and patience amidst your situation. This morning I pray that we'll desire to see God in our circumstances rather than expecting change that may put us back where we lived in complacency. Be encouraged by the story of Joseph who went through unfortunate situations but they were the path to where God was to bless him. May you seek God with all your heart and be set apart for Him.
