🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 315
DATE: 11TH NOVEMBER, 2025
TOPIC: THE DIVINE SCRIPT OF LIFE
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: ECCLESIASTES 3:1 (KJV)
“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
MESSAGE:

Life itself is a script, and the writer of that script is God. In every script, the writer gives the same actor different roles to play at specific times. The actor cannot perform the final scene at the beginning — even if the action is right, it would be done at the wrong time. In the same way, the Writer of our life script — God — has designed how we ought to conduct ourselves in different times and seasons.

Just as an actor must spend quality time receiving instructions and directions from the writer and studying the script to avoid mistakes, so must every believer spend time with God to understand their role and timing in His divine plan. If we desire to live an impactful and effective life, we must learn to withdraw from distractions and spend quality time in prayer, fasting, and worship, seeking divine instructions and direction for every season.

We must also spend time studying the manual — the Word of God — to discover who we are, our purpose, and the specific roles we are to play in God’s agenda. When we do this, we align ourselves with divine timing and avoid stepping into assignments before the right season. Acting outside the divine schedule can make us lose relevance or attract unnecessary battles before we have built the necessary capacity to withstand them.

Even Jesus, the Son of God, walked according to divine timing. At one point, He fled from Herod with His parents to preserve His life. At another, He was led into the wilderness to be tempted. There were seasons He went to the mountain to pray, others when He taught and preached, and others when He performed miracles, signs, and wonders. Yet, there were also moments when He said, “My time has not yet come.”

Child of God, life is characterized by times and seasons. To live effectively, we must discern the seasons of our lives and conduct ourselves accordingly. This can only happen when we spend time in God’s presence and study His Word — the divine manual.

Remember, God is not only the Writer of your life’s script but also the Director who guides each scene through His Rod and Staff — the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. Allow Him to lead, and your life will unfold in perfect harmony with His will.

PRAYER:

Father, thank You for being the Author and Director of my life. Teach me to walk in Your divine timing and to act according to Your direction. Help me to stay in tune with Your voice and Word, that I may fulfill my purpose in every season of life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
