🙏 The Lord Intercedes For Us ✨ The Lord intercedes for us, because we believe that Jesus Christ prays in us. He is the Head from whom come the words and the power of supplication, and He who determines the purpose of every prayer. And Jesus prays with us; because He presents our prayers to the Father as the living High Priest who exists in heaven and on earth. And He prays for us; because we are the members of His body. And by the death of Christ on the cross, supplication is no longer the groveling of sinners as it was in the Old Testament, but supplication has become the realization of our inability to live without the gift of life. And by the Lord's resurrection, the intercession, i.e., the intercession of Christ, is no longer the supplication of the lesser to the greater with words befitting the station of the lesser and the station of the greater, but the intercession of Christ has become the mediation between life and death, i.e., between the life that does not die and the life that is transformed from death to life, i.e., His life becomes our life, one life, and one body with one Spirit. #Intercession #Prayer #HighPriest #JesusPrays #Communion
