THE PILGRIMS GUIDE SATURDAY NOVEMBER 15, 2025 THE CALL TO HOLINESS A WORD FROM THE WORD: "But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, 'Be holy, for I am holy.'" 1 Peter 1:15-16 NKJV Holiness is unpopular in our days, but it's still God's requirement of us, and the only way to see Him. (Hebrews 12:14). If heaven matters to you, then you must be holy, though it will cost you a lot of friends, 'opportunities' and pleasures of this world, but the reward far outweighs the cost and it's out of this world. You cannot try to be holy, you were made holy by God (2 Corinthians 5:21); all you need to do is to walk in that holiness, guided by the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:16); bearing the fruit of love that is deposited in your heart when you first believed the Gospel (Romans 5:5).
