THE CALL TO SEEK GOD WHOLEHEARTEDLY

A WORD FROM THE WORD:

"....Whenever you seek him, you will find him. But if you abandon him, he will abandon you." 2 Chronicles 15:2 NLT.

This is God in our anchor Scripture, making an irrevocable promise to King Asa, and to you personally, as His own redeemed child today too.
The bankrupt spiritual state of Israel was revealed in verse 3, 'For a long time Israel was without the true God, without a priest to teach and without the law.' (NKJV).
King Asa's swift response to the word of God is worthy of note, this is what is expected of God's children everywhere.
The man moved immediately in the direction of God as soon as the word reached him, right there and then, he and the people entered into a covenant to seek the LORD God.

You can also do that today as a sign of your unwavering commitment to the LORD, and as a response to His promptings to you. King Asa's heart was made up and he was set to do the will of God whatever the cost.
When you seek God's face and intervention in your circumstances and situations reverently, obediently and without let, He will definitely be compassionate towards, and move to help you.

Would you dare be impelled and moved like King Asa, all Judah and Benjamin to seek God's face, in response to His standing invitation in repentance?

PRAYER BULLETS:

ABBA Father, may I be found with a penitent heart like that of King Asa.

FURTHER READING:

1 Chronicles 28:9; Jeremiah 29:13; Matthew 11:28-30.
