๐ DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 321
DATE: 17TH NOVEMBER, 2025
TOPIC: THE POWER OF SUBMISSION
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: ROMANS 6:16 (KJV)
“Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey…”
MESSAGE
Had Jesus submitted to the devil during the temptation, He would have forfeited His authority to redeem mankind. Bowing to Satan would have meant surrendering His divine authority and becoming his subject — and a subject cannot deliver others. The One who redeems must Himself be free.
Sadly, this is the same problem many face today. In the pursuit of power, wealth, riches, influence, and family deliverance, some compromise spiritually and morally. They embrace shortcuts, yield to deception, enter corrupt systems, or accept demonic access in exchange for quick results. By doing so, they unknowingly submit to the devil and lose the power to break free — and to deliver their families.
Apostle Paul warns that we become slaves to whomever we bow to.If you bow to the enemy’s lies and temptations, you make him master over your life. Jesus teaches that no one can enter a strong man’s house and take his goods unless he first binds the strong man.
You cannot bind a strong man you have bowed to.
The key to spiritual authority is the life Jesus lived:Truthfulness — upholding integrity in every situation,Purity and holiness in conduct, speech, and thought,Obedience to the Word as a lifestyle and having Victory over covetousness — refusing to bow to the devil’s offers.Worship is submission.Submission is ownership.Whoever you bow to rules you.
PRAYER
Father, give me the strength to resist every form of compromise. Help me to walk in integrity, purity, and truth. Establish me in Your Word, and deliver me from every temptation of the enemy. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
