STRENGTH IN CHRIST IN ALL SEASONS

A WORD FROM THE WORD:

"Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength." Philippians 4:11-13 NLT.

Paul, the apostle, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit in our anchor text gives a clear understanding of what the Bible has to say about contentment. No matter what is going on in your life, whether you are celebrating the happiest moments or struggling through the lowest, the LORD Jesus strengthens you through it all.

The Bible says: "True godliness with contentment is itself great wealth. After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can't take anything with us when we leave it. So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content. But people who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows." (1 Timothy 6:6-10 NLT).

You should as a matter of necessity reach out to the LORD Jesus to heal you from the stress of worrying about your perception among peers, and to grant you the gift of satisfaction with what He has given to you in His Omniscient love.
Thank God for teaching you to walk with Him in holiness and repent of the times you went astray.

Resolve to, and cease grappling with old issues and walk in the peace that comes from Godgiven contentment. Remain focused on the LORD Jesus and put Him first and watch as His promises to you unfold to your advantage and His glory.

PRAYER BULLETS:

ABBA Father, thank You for opening the eyes of my mind to grasp this understanding of contentment. May I be continually blessed by what you're teaching me.

FURTHER READING:

1 Timothy 6:6-10; Matthew 6:25-33; Hebrews 13:5; Luke 12:15.
