Some Christians object to those keeping track of the number of souls saved during evangelism outreaches. However, God is interested in numbers. A census was conducted among the twelve tribes of Israel. That was recorded in a book called Numbers. Acts 2:41 and Acts 4:4 mention 3,000 and later 5,000 believers added to the church. As my mentor Nick Kinn says, “We count people because people count.”
