THE PILGRIMS GUIDE THURSDAY NOVEMBER 20, 2025 RIGHTEOUSNESS AS THE SOURCE OF BOLDNESS A WORD FROM THE WORD: "The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion." Proverbs 28:1 ESV. There's every need for you to put your faith into action, for you to do this, the boldness that comes from right standing with God is needed. You would have observed that with some people, when it comes to living out God's word or standing out for the truth, they tend to become intimidated and join the multitude to commit iniquity. Our anchor Scripture says, 'the righteous are bold as a lion.' This comes with the understanding that you are made bold by righteousness. Matter of fact is, you cannot be bold enough to correct any unrighteous misdemeanour you know that you are guilty of without playing the hypocrisy card. As a child of God who is Christ's ambassador, you must not get involved with the life of sin so that your boldness will be righteousness-driven. When righteousness becomes the source of your boldness, you cannot naturally afford to be timid as to operate in fear, this is because you have God's active gift at work inside of you, 'For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.' (2 Timothy 1:7 NIV). Child of God, understand that as long as you are emboldened by righteousness and are living righteously, you are in your God-given charge, don't ever be afraid of the enemy of your soul, even Satan, he is not in charge, you are, by the virtue of God's Spirit and righteousness in you. You are God's battle axe, and He had ordained you before the foundation of the world to use you for His glory among the nations. Just take your place by faith with righteousness-driven boldness and do exploits for God's glory. You are able. PRAYER BULLETS: Father, I thank you for opening my eyes to know that I am in charge.
