๐Ÿ•Š DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 324
DATE: 20TH NOVEMBER, 2025
TOPIC: THE FERVENT LOVE OF GOD
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: SONG OF SOLOMON 3:1–4 (KJV)
“By night on my bed I sought him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not… I will rise now, and go about the city… I sought him, but I found him not… It was but a little that I passed from them, but I found him whom my soul loveth…”
MESSAGE

The love of God is the most passionate, unrelenting, and unstoppable force in existence. When humanity fell into sin and darkness, God did not sit back and abandon us. His love began a divine search — a pursuit to reclaim what was lost.

The maiden in Song of Solomon symbolizes the soul seeking her beloved. Spiritually, this reveals God’s pursuit of man and man’s eventual response to His love.Verse 1 says,
“I sought him whom my soul loveth, but I found him not.”This mirrors the condition of man after the fall. God watched to see if man would return to Him, but sin had darkened the mind. Man had no strength to find God, no light to guide him back.

So God Himself arose to seek us.Verse 2 declares,“I will rise now and go about the city…”
This is a prophetic picture of Christ’s coming, His birth, and His earthly ministry.
Jesus walked the streets, the cities, and the villages — preaching, healing, teaching, and revealing the heart of the Father. He was God in pursuit of His lost creation.

He did not send an angel. He did not send a prophet. He came Himself. His ministry was a demonstration of love in motion — searching for the sinner, the broken, the outcast, the forgotten, and the condemned. Love Himself moved among men.

Verse 4 says,“…I found him… I held him and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother’s house…”This represents reconciliation. Through Christ, God took us from the world and restored us back into His family — His house. He reconciled us to the One who conceived us — the Father.

Child of God, this is the fervent love of God:A love that pursues.A love that searches.
A love that does not give up.A love willing to take on flesh, suffer, bleed, and die — just to win you back.No earthly love compares. No human affection can match it.God’s love is unfailing, unchanging, and unending. It follows you, calls you, draws you, and holds you until you are restored to Him. It is a love that refuses to let you go.Rest in this truth today:
You are deeply loved — passionately, eternally, and relentlessly — by God.

PRAYER

Father, thank You for Your unfailing and fervent love. Help me to never take this love for granted. Draw me closer to You each day and help me abide in Your presence. Amen.
