🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 325 📅 DATE: 21ST NOVEMBER, 2025 TOPIC: THE EMPOWERMENT THAT MAKES US EFFECTIVE ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: ACTS 1:8 (KJV) “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me…” DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE: For us to function effectively in the areas where God has called us, we need the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. Knowledge, experience, and skill are important, but without the Spirit, they cannot produce Kingdom results. In the Book of Acts, the disciples were instructed to tarry until the Holy Ghost came upon them. Only after they were empowered did they begin to operate in the supernatural realm—with boldness, wisdom, and excellence. This same empowerment is needed by every believer today—Whether in politics and governance like Daniel, where integrity must be upheld. Whether in the marketplace, where God’s wisdom is required to stand out. Whether in technology, leadership, education, or any field where God wants His children to shine. God desires us to represent Him with excellence, uniqueness, and glory that points back to Him. But this empowerment only flows from intimacy with the Holy Spirit. Just as Jesus called His disciples to Himself before sending them, God calls us first into fellowship. It is in intimacy that: Character is molded, Tongues are purified with truth and integrity, Hearts are cleansed from bitterness and injustice. This is because beyond our knowledge and experience, we must understand that we wrestle against principalities and rulers governing the marketplace, political offices, and various spheres of influence. Only those empowered by the Spirit can triumph over the opposition of darkness that seeks to hinder their divine assignment. Therefore, pursue fellowship.Pursue empowerment.Pursue the Holy Spirit.For it is not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit that we prevail. PRAYER: Lord, fill me afresh with Your Spirit. Empower me to function effectively in my calling with excellence, wisdom, and integrity. Let Your presence distinguish me in every place You have assigned to me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
