LIVING A LIFE OF PURPOSE BY SEEKING FIRST THE KINGDOM
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." Matthew 6:33, NKJV.
One of the quickest ways to miss your flight at the airport is to sit down and engaging people who are not travelling in any kind of discussion.
Purpose is the reason why something exists; The LORD Jesus says ".. Seek first the kingdom of God.... and all these thing shall be added to you." That is your primary assignment summed up for living a life of purpose.
Every believer is important in God's agenda and scheme of things, for the body of Christ and humanity in general. For the community of faith, Paul the apostle, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit says that in the body of Christ there are different members that it's made up with.
You need to know the following and allow them to help you in living a purposeful life.
1). You are relevant as you have a different assignment and mission to contribute and accomplish so as to make the body whole. (1 Corinthians 12:12)
2). You are created to live to glorify God, and not for your own self interest. (Isaiah 43:6-7)
3). You are wonderfully and fearfully made by God, created in a unique way. (Psalm 139:14)
4). It's important you fit into God's purpose for creating you. (Jeremiah 29:11; Matthew 6:33)
5). Serving God's purpose should be your lifestyle, so that His plan for you should naturally manifest. (John 6:38-40)
6). When you live a life that is contrary to God's purpose for your life, His purpose for you will become elusive. (1 Peter 3:9)
7). Your life must have divine direction. No matter your busy schedule, you should always create time for God. (Psalm 119:105; Matthew 6:33).
PRAYER BULLETS:
LORD Jesus, I thank You for the privilege of knowing You. Open new pathways for me to fulfill my purpose in life.
FURTHER READING:
Acts 13:36; John 9:14; Philippians 3:12-13; Romans 1:14; Daniel 1:8.
