๐Ÿ•Š DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 327
DATE: 23RD NOVEMBER, 2025
TOPIC: THE DECISIONS THAT SHAPE DESTINY
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:PROVERBS 16:25 (KJV)
“There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”
DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE

We are a product of the decisions we made yesterday and the ones we continue to make daily. Yet many of us never genuinely involved God in the most critical decisions of our lives—marriage, career, business, ministry, the cities we relocate to, or even the jobs we accept.

Instead of seeking God’s leading, we leaned on the voices of friends, parents, pastors, experience, and our own knowledge. But if God is to lead you into sound decisions and guide you into the path of everlasting life, then you must be willing to lay aside your own understanding and submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

How many entered relationships where God was not involved at all? How many marriages began in excitement but now survive only by God’s mercy? How many business deals resulted in painful losses, fraud, debts, or purchasing properties that never existed? How many chose careers that yielded nothing, yet afterwards blamed God for the outcome?

The truth is—God was never part of the foundation. Even when some claimed to “involve God,” they had already made up their minds before praying.

Our success in every decision is dependent on the Holy Spirit’s guidance. That is why Jesus left us the Spirit—to instruct, teach, and guide us in the way we should go. Yet many ignore His promptings and choose to follow emotions, physical appearances, instincts, and personal logic. But feelings can lie, instincts can be wrong, and impressions can mislead—just as Samuel almost anointed the wrong king until God corrected him.

In our anchor scripture encounter (Exodus 3), when God called Moses, He commanded him, “Put off thy shoes.” This symbolizes laying aside experience, knowledge, assumptions, and self-confidence. If God is to lead you accurately, you must first become “foolish” to yourself—empty enough for Him to fill you and guide you.

The Holy Spirit is a gentle Spirit. He will not force His will on you. He advises, warns, nudges, and gives impressions—but He doesn’t impose. If we ignore His voice, He will not strive with us. But the results will reveal whether God was in the foundation or not.

God’s ways stand sure. A man’s way may look right to him—but it leads to destruction. That is why every destiny decision must be rooted in divine leading, not human reasoning.

PRAYER:

Father, help me to surrender my understanding and follow Your guidance. Lead me by Your Spirit in every decision concerning my destiny. Deliver me from self-will and teach me to trust Your ways. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
