ETERNAL SECURITY OF THE BELIEVER

A WORD FROM THE WORD:

"And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand." John 10:28 NKJV.

Have you considered the truthful fact that you're a pilgrim here on planet earth? And that you're on journey towards a final destination, your eternal home? On this earthly journey you have a choice to make of where your eternal home will be, either eternal life in God's presence in heaven or eternal damnation in hell.
God has given you the freewill and power to make a choice and take a decision of where you'll like to spend eternity. So the question is, have you taken time to ruminate over the choice of where that place will be?

The decision to embrace eternal life in God's presence or otherwise cannot be outsourced or given on a platter, it is purely a deliberate personal decision you take, and with the help of God's Spirit obediently and diligently follow the principles and due processes duly; which begins with a spiritual rebirth occasioned by receiving the LORD Jesus into your life as your personal LORD and Saviour.

God loves you dearly and desires that you spend eternity in His presence. In fact, it is because of this love that He sent His only begotten Son to the world to die in your stead. And the LORD Jesus says 'I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.'
Only you, by the exercise of your freewill can snatch yourself out of the LORD Jesus' hand either by rejection of the free salvation from Him or having been saved, refusing to work out your salvation with fear and trembling by following the principles of the Kingdom and due processes.

PRAYER BULLETS:

LORD Jesus, thank You for the salvation of my soul. Cleanse me from all unrighteousness and endue me with Your enabling grace to fully embrace eternal life in God's presence.

FURTHER READING:

Romans 8:38-39; Ephesians 1:13-14; Philippians 1:6; 1 Peter 1:3-5; John 3:16-18.
