Good morning, brethren.

1. Do you pray in the morning? Our morning prayer focuses on "living in unity and peace."

2. Can you see something good in every bad situation we are facing in Nigeria?

3. Have you surrendered your weakness to God?

4. Are you as a believer in His presence?
To know more, read the message below.

1. Morning Prayer

A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for brethren to dwell together in unity! ⏤ Psalm 133:1

Prayer is the language of a man burdened with a sense of need. ⏤ E.M. Bounds

Our Heavenly Father, You have told us that You love us and care for us. We gather at our family altar again to embrace the assurance of Your love and care. We are Yours—not our own. You made us, and You redeemed us. Your marks are upon us—the marks of the Lord Jesus. We are confident in Your keeping, so we entrust our lives to Your care.

Help us to be good children. Let us not grieve You by our sins, unbelief, or by straying from the way of Your commandments. May we be:
Faithful in all our duties,
Diligent in all our tasks,
Constant in our devotion to You,
And helpful among Your children.

Please make our home increasingly happy and loving. Protect us from the quarrels and strife that ruin the sweetness of so many homes. Help us to live together as a family with patience and kindness. May we bear with one another’s faults and weaknesses, and not provoke each other with our words and actions. In this way, may we each contribute to the happiness of our home and the good and edification of one another.

Make our home a center of holy influences. May its light shine out to brighten other homes and make other lives safer, stronger, and truer. Help us to be:
Sweeteners of the world’s bitterness,
Comforters of its sorrow,
Strength for its weakness,
And life for its death.

We confess our sins before You. We look to You for protection and guidance. Walk with us throughout the day and keep us from stumbling. Bring us safely home at last. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.

2. MORNING TEA. THE WORD FOR TODAY
THURSDAY NOVEMBER 27, 2025.
"SEEING THE HAND OF GOD IN IT"
‘Friend, do what you came to do.’ Matthew 26:50 NCV

JESUS LOOKED at Judas in Gethsemane and said, ‘Friend, do what you came to do.’ It’s hard to imagine what Jesus saw in Judas that made him worthy to be called ‘friend’. But Jesus sees something good in every bad situation. And it would help if we did the same. How? Again, Jesus gives us guidance. He didn’t place all the blame on Judas. He saw another force at work: ‘This is…the time when darkness rules’ (Luke 22:53 NCV). Judas wasn’t acting alone—and neither are your attackers. Paul says, ‘Our fight is not against people on earth but against the rulers and authorities and the powers of this world’s darkness, against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenly world’ (Ephesians 6:12 NCV). Those who attack and betray us are victims of a fallen world. We can’t place all the blame on them. Jesus found enough good in Judas to call him a friend, and He can help us do the same with those who hurt us. Even though Judas didn’t understand or intend to, he played a vital role in ushering Christ into His destiny. Of the 98 words Christ spoke at His arrest, 30 were about the purpose of God. ‘It must happen this way to bring about what the Scriptures say…“All these things have happened so that it will come about as the prophets wrote’’’ (Matthew 26:54-56 NCV). Jesus understood that His immediate struggle was part of a greater plan. He saw the hand of God at work in it. And if you pay attention, you’ll see His hand at work in your struggle too.

*SURRENDER YOUR WEAKNESS TO GOD* 🫵🏽🏽‍🏽‍🏾🏾‍🏽

```EXODUS 3:7-12```
```Key Verse:``` _*"And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?" (Exodus 3:11).*_

Moses was no longer as sure of himself as he had been when he lived in Pharaoh's place. For the past forty years, he had just been a shepherd looking after sheep and goats in the desert. By this time, he probably felt rather unimportant and of little use.

When God suddenly appeared to send him on a great assignment, he gave excuses why he should not be the one to go. He told God that he wouldn't be able to speak to Pharaoh because he wasn't good at speaking.

Are you afraid that God may ask you to do something big like He asked Moses to do? Maybe you are feeling the Lord is telling you to speak to someone who is older than you about His forgiveness and love.

God doesn't expect you to do it in your own strength. In fact, He prefers using people who are unsure of their own ability because they rely on Him for everything - for strength, for wisdom, and for courage.

*The Lord shows His power best through those who surrender their weakness to Him. Right now, you have all you need to be useful to God. You don't have to be perfect at the beginning. All God wants is that you listen to His voice in your heart and obey Him.*

```rayer:``` _*My God and my Father, I surrender my weakness and strength to You.*_ 🏽
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings . . .
—Philippians 3:10
W.C. Burns of India wrote, “Oh to have a martyr’s heart, if not a martyr’s crown.” Popularity and adulation are far more dangerous for the Christian than persecution. It is easy, when all goes smoothly, to lose our sense of balance and our perspective. The important thing is to walk with Christ, to live for Christ, and to have one consuming passion—to please Him. Then, whatever happens, we know that He has permitted it in order to teach us some priceless lesson and to perfect us for His service. He will enrich our circumstances, be they pleasant or disagreeable, by the fact of His presence with us.
Prayer for the day
Lord, my soul wants to love and know You far more deeply. Forgive the times I have set my eyes on things that keep me from You.
