Heavenly Father,
This Thanksgiving morning, before we speak to anyone else, we lift our hearts to You in gratitude. Thank You for allowing us to see this Thankful Thursday, a day set apart to remember Your goodness, Your protection, and Your unfailing love.
Lord, Your Word declares, “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV). So today, we pause — not to ask first, but to thank You.
We thank You for life, for breath, for strength, for mercy that met us this morning.
We thank You for every door You opened and every door You closed.
We thank You for peace that held us together, even when life tried to pull us apart.
We thank You for family, for friends, for love, for grace, and for the blood of Jesus that still saves, heals, and delivers.
Lord, on this Thanksgiving Day, bless every home represented. Let Your presence fill dining rooms, living rooms, kitchens, and every place where people gather. Remove tension, restore unity, bring forgiveness, and surround us with the warmth of Your love.
Your Word says, “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24 KJV). So we choose joy. We choose gratitude. We choose thanksgiving.
Father, bless those who are lonely, grieving, or battling sickness today. Wrap them in Your compassion. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and that Your joy is still their strength.
Let this day not just be about food, but about faith.
Not just about gathering, but about gratitude.
Not just about celebration, but about remembering Your goodness.
We give You all the glory, honor, and praise.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray—Amen.
