DAILY DEVOTION - November 28

Thankful for People

Philippians 1:3 (NKJV)

(I thank my God upon every remembrance of you.)

Gratitude draws us closer to God and to others. Paul’s words to the Philippians remind us that people
are some of God’s greatest blessings. When he thought of his brothers and sisters in Christ, his heart
turned naturally to thanksgiving.

As we near the end of Week 4: Thanksgiving & Praise, this verse challenges us to be intentional
about gratitude for those around us. Each person God places in our life is there by purpose—some to
teach, some to encourage, others to sharpen and strengthen our faith.

Thankfulness expressed strengthens relationships. When we thank God for others, we see them as
gifts, not burdens. A grateful heart celebrates God’s grace reflected through people.

Reflection Questions:

1. Who am I thankful for today, and have I told them?

2. How has God used others to bless or strengthen me this year?

3. How can I show appreciation that points others back to Christ?

Prayer:

Father, thank You for the people You’ve placed in my life—family, friends, and fellow believers. Help me to honor them with words of encouragement and to thank You for each one. Let my gratitude build
unity and love. Amen.

Practical Application:

● Send a message or note of thanks to someone who’s blessed you.

â—Ź Pray specifically for the people you thank God for today.

â—Ź Publicly express gratitude for a friend or leader on Lordsbook.

Takeaway Thought:

Gratitude for others strengthens relationships and reflects the love of Christ.
