THE POWER OF FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD THROUGH PRAYER
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding." 1 Corinthians 14:15 NKJV.
Prayer is a two way process of communication through which we enjoy sweet fellowship with God.
He who knows prayer, knows power, and God kneads us in the place of prayer.
He who prays must be on the right standing with God, as the psalmist says 'If I regard iniquity in my heart, the LORD will not hear.' (Psalm 66:18 NKJV).
How has your prayer life been? You should enjoy your prayer life in every area. God's Word teaches us to pray all prayer. Paul, the apostle says by the Holy Spirit, that he will 'pray in the tongues and pray in known language.' If you have the gift of tongues, have you been yielding to the Holy Spirit to pray in tongues, have you been doing so? If you haven't received this spiritual gift, have you asked the LORD? Have you ever tried singing in tongues. Have you ever sang melodies in your heart to God?
Diversify your prayer today and God's glory will overshadow you. Subject yourself to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to move you without restrain. If you don't know how to pray in tongues yet. You can rely on the Holy Spirit to inspire you to choose specific songs to use in fellowship with God today.
PRAYER BULLETS:
LORD Jesus, thank You for the Holy Spirit, who is my Helper. Help me to pray as I ought. May all my prayers be acceptable to You and bring Your will and counsel to pass in my life.
FURTHER READING:
Ephesians 6:18; Psalm 66:18; James 5:16; Matthew 7:7; 21:22.
