Isaiah 48:17-18 NLT This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow. Oh, that you had listened to my commands! Then you would have had peace flowing like a gentle river and righteousness rolling over you like waves in the sea.

Hello , how are you? I hope you had a great day. Let's make this reflection about our God's teachings before we sleep. I know you've read or heard about the ten commandments. How many of them have you not broken so far? I know many of us live by the Bible cliche or mantra 'His grace is sufficient..' after breaking all the commandments. Would you be glad to know that actually the commandments or the laws of God are meant to protect us and not to create a trap for God to punish us? Actually, that's what they are meant to do. Shielding us from falling into what will hurt God, us and others. Just meditate on all what God teaches us starting from those famous ten commandments. Think of the results of breaking those commandments. Who do you think is most hurt by the consequence of sin? It is you and God loves you so much as His child and so you hurt Him too. In our today's verses, God remind us that He teaches us what is good and lead us along the path we should follow. He further explain that He desire that we listen and by doing so we will have peace flowing like a river and righteous flowing over us like waves in the sea! Aren't these what we desire and pray to God all the time? God loves us so much and wants us to have them all and so He teaches us that which is good and lead us along the path we should follow. The decision to obey is however yours. God has given you liberty and all freedom. Make the right choice beloved. God loves you, have a blessed night. Shalom. Shalom.
