Romans 9:23 NLT When Moses asked to see the glory of God, he wasn't shown the pride of life. He saw no houses, no lands and no riches as we know and regard it. But what he saw was the riches of the glory of God. The riches of God's glory encapsulates His character, righteousness, justice, peace, mercy, grace, goodness, long-suffering among other innumerable virtues of His essence. These are the riches of glory of God. Do not get me wrong, God wants you to have plenty of all, to enjoy and to use your riches (both material and spiritual) for His Kingdom purposes. God is rich in mercy. God has riches of goodness and forbearance and long-suffering. The design of salvation is for God to display the riches of His glory in the life of His children, the believers, to the glory and honour of His name.
