๐Ÿ•Š DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 342
DATE:8TH DECEMBER, 2025
TOPIC: SEEKING GOD’S WISDOM FOR THE BLESSINGS WE PRAY FOR
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: Judges 13:12 (KJV)
“And Manoah said, Now let thy words come to pass. How shall we order the child, and how shall we do unto him?”
DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE

Many times, we pray earnestly for blessings—children, jobs, opportunities, open doors, marriages, favour, and increase. But a critical question remains: After God answers our prayers, do we return to ask Him how to use what He has given us? Or do we now exclude Him from the process and rely on our own understanding?

We pray for children… God gives them. But do we go back and ask, “Lord, how do You want them raised? “Do we seek His mind concerning their purpose, their assignment, and their destiny?

Throughout Scripture, every child God gave carried a divine agenda: Jesus was born to redeem mankind and reconcile humanity back to God. John the Baptist came to prepare the way for the Messiah. Moses was born as a deliverer of Israel from Egypt. Samson was sent to deliver Israel from the Philistines. Joseph was raised to preserve nations during famine through divine wisdom. Samuel was born to serve as a prophet and divine voice over Israel.

None of these destinies were accidental. Their parents did not raise them by guesswork. They sought God for direction.Samson’s parents asked God, “How shall we order the child?”The parents of John the Baptist received clear divine instructions before and after his birth.

Beloved, every child—including yours—is a prophecy, a divine assignment wrapped in human flesh. There is something God tied to their birth, a kingdom agenda hidden in their destiny. But without seeking His wisdom, that purpose can be mismanaged, delayed, or even wasted.

When God blesses you with children, you cannot push Him out of the picture and depend solely on human wisdom, culture, or personal preferences. The danger is that many end up regretting or even blaming God for the challenges they face, forgetting that they never inquired of Him on how to raise the children He entrusted to them.

Child of God, everyone born into this world carries a purpose. The earlier you discover God’s purpose for your children, the better positioned you are to guide them, train them, and prepare them to fulfill their divine assignment.

PRAYER

Father, thank You for every blessing You have given me. Teach me never to exclude You from what You have entrusted into my hands. Grant me divine wisdom to raise, guide, and nurture my children according to Your purpose. Reveal their assignments early, and help me steward their destinies faithfully. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
