Good morning, brethren.
1. Our morning prayer focuses on "A heart of praise."
2. What do you treasure most?
3. Do you have the HOPE of glory?
4. Are you off track?
To know more, read the message below:
1. Morning Prayer
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, [and] into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, [and] bless his name. ⏤ Psalm 100:4
True prayer is neither a mere mental exercise nor a vocal performance. It is far deeper than that - it is spiritual transaction with the Creator of Heaven and Earth. ⏤ Charles Spurgeon
We come into Your presence, O God, this morning, with a song. We do not praise You as we ought or as You deserve. We come to You with our requests, our supplications, our pleadings—and then when our prayers are answered, we too often fail to thank You for the blessings we receive. We take Your gifts from the unseen hand and do not think of the Giver, from whom all our favors come. We get discouraged too easily when shadows creep over us or when fragments of cloud come into our sky, and our hearts fill with fear. We confess all this little faith and all this ingratitude, and we ask You for the grace of thankfulness, that we may suitably remember Your love. Having eyes, may we see Your love in all the manifold blessings that come to us in so many forms and ways.
Teach all of us how to sing praise to You. There are always countless reasons for praise. In the darkest day, there is far more light than darkness. Our troubles are always infinitesimally small in comparison with our mercies and blessings. Give us eyes to see the bright things, and hearts to number our comforts. Teach us not to mind the cares and worries but to sing through them all. Teach us to rejoice always, even though we are suffering or enduring discomfort.
We thank You for all the mercies we now enjoy. We thank You for the good things of Your providence, and the better things of Your grace—for home and friends, and health and books, and schools and churches, and all Your favors. Give us the spirit of praise. Help us to make this a day of rejoicing in Jesus Christ our Lord. And may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be on us forever. Amen.

2. MORNING TEA. THE WORD FOR TODAY
WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 10, 2025.
"WHAT DO YOU TREASURE MOST?"
‘Where your treasure is…you will most want to be.’
Matthew 6:21 TM
IF YOUR house was burning down and you could only save one thing, what would it be? It’s a decision people make every day, and it’s never easy. There’ll always be things we grieve about giving up because of their intrinsic value in our lives. If you want to know what yours are, look at how you spend your time and money. It’s a dead giveaway. Jesus said, ‘Where your treasure is…you will most want to be.’ Your ‘treasure’ can be relationships you’d do anything to keep, a career that’s central to your identity, or your investments for the future. These things are okay. Indeed, the Bible says that wise people look ahead and plan (Proverbs 21:20). But it’s where you’re investing for eternity that really matters. ‘The rich young ruler asked Jesus: “What shall I do to inherit eternal life?”…Jesus said…“Sell all…you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” But when he heard this, he became very sorrowful, for he was very rich’ (Luke 18:18-23 NKJV). In essence, Jesus was asking this man who was rich and successful, ‘Would you give it all up to follow me? Would you forfeit it for a few years in order to have much more for eternity? Instead of building a career, would you spend your life building My kingdom?’ Jesus wants to be ‘front and centre’ in your life. And when you put Him there, He promises, ‘All your other needs will be met as well’ (Matthew 6:33 NCV). Are you willing to put Him to the test?

TOPIC: HOPE OF GLORY
MEMORISE:
"To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:" - (Colossians 1:27)
BIBLE READING: PSALM 126:1-6 (KJV)
1 When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.
3 The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
4 Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.
5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
MESSAGE:
Many people who are yet to surrender their lives to Christ think that they are enjoying life as they live in sin. For example, they think sleeping around is fun until they contract an incurable disease. A lot of them also think that it is okay to make money through any means, whether good or bad, until the wealth or possession they amass leads to their utter destruction. Being in Christ and living according to His word helps believers to live a lifestyle that protects them from many troubles. Those who are in Christ have access to information that will always give them hope and keep them safe.
Many unbelievers look like they are doing well judging by their lifestyle and appearance; however, in reality, they are suffering. Some of them cannot even sleep soundly because of the evil things they have done. Being in Christ gives you peace and removes fears about the future from your heart. A life without Christ is a life with no hope. Apostle Paul said in Ephesians 2:12:
That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
It is because of Christ that believers are assured that no matter what challenges come their way, they will emerge victorious. Jesus said in John 16:33 that in this world, we will have tribulations, but we must be of good cheer because He has already overcome the world for us. Our hope is grounded in God's promises and not just wishful thinking. When you read God’s promises in the Scriptures, they will stir up hope in you. For example, in Hebrews 13:5, He promised to never leave you nor forsake you. This means that no matter what you are going through, God is right there beside you. In Romans 8:28, He said that all things will work together for your good if you love Him and are called according to His purpose. Therefore, if you are a lover of Christ and are walking in His purpose for your life, no matter the challenges you might be facing, you will laugh last.
Beloved, I want you to rest assured that God is thinking about you, and His thoughts towards you are of peace, and not of evil, to bring you to an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11). I pray that you will always hold on to the hope of glory you have in Christ, in Jesus’ name.
KEY POINT:
Outside Jesus, there is no true hope.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: PHILIPPIANS 1-4
HYMNAL: 10 In CHRIST ALONE
1 In Christ alone my hope is found;
He is my light, my strength, my song;
this Cornerstone, this solid ground,
firm through the fiercest drought and storm.
What heights of love, what depths of peace
when fears are stilled, when strivings cease;
my Comforter, my All in All;
here in the love of Christ I stand.
2 In Christ alone who took on flesh;
fullness of God in helpless babe.
This gift of love and righteousness
scorned by the ones He came to save;
'til on that cross as Jesus died
the wrath of God was satisfied;
for ev'ry sin on Him was laid;
here in the death of Christ I live.
3 There in the ground His body lay;
Light of the world by darkness slain.
Then bursting forth in glorious day,
up from the grave He rose again!
And as He stands in victory,
sin's curse has lost its grip on me;
for I am His and He is mine,
bought with the precious blood of Christ!
4 No guilt in life, no fear in death;
this is the pow'r of Christ in me.
From life's first cry to final breath,
Jesus commands my destiny.
No pow'r of hell, no scheme of man
can ever pluck me from His hand;
'til He returns or calls me home,
here in the pow'r of Christ I'll stand!

Getting Back on Track – Today’s Youth Devotion
Getting Back on Track
Bible Reading: 1 Peter 5:5-7
Humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and in his good time he will honor you. 1 Peter 5:6
“I BELIEVE in Christ, but he doesn’t have a lot to do with my daily life,” Trent admits. “It’s not like I don’t want to read the Bible to figure out what God wants, but I don’t have time. God never seems as close as other people say he is. I still know that he cares for me, though, so when I hit a big problem, I pray hard.”
Life can be a struggle when you call the shots. You lack joy, at times your anxiety level is high, and peace is in short supply. You don’t have much power over temptation, and you probably get discouraged more than you care to admit.
So where are you in your relationship with God? Do you decide each day to give Christ the leadership of your life? Are you letting God’s Word break through to grow your faith? Your relationship with God still might not always be all you would like, but that’s the path to finding spiritual satisfaction.
If you feel like a half-hearted, bogged-down Christian, here are some practical steps to help you get going:
Remember that God loves you unconditionally. You are his special child. When you disobey God, you grieve him (see Ephesians 4:29-32). You might feel his discipline (see Hebrews 12:5-12), but his love for you never changes.
Confess your sin. Letting your sinful nature dominate your life results in disobedience-and a lot of disappointment. Admit your sin to God and ask him for help to move on. After all, a mature Christian isn’t someone who never falls down. A mature Christian is someone who gets back up and keeps going (see Philippians 3:12-14).
Count on God’s forgiveness. It’s hard for most people-Christians included-to fathom how God could welcome us back like the father in Jesus’ story about the prodigal, wandering son (see Luke 15:11-32). But Christ’s death on the cross has already purchased your once-for-all forgiveness (see Hebrews 10:12-14; 1 Peter 3:18). Accept God’s forgiveness. It’s already yours!
Turn to God in trust. Trusting God means changing your attitudes and actions and making a decision to turn to God instead of continuing to think or do things that cause you to drift in your relationship with Christ. On your own, it’s impossible to change. But by trusting in God, you depend on his power and strength to live the Christian life (see 2 Timothy 2:22). And as you yield to him each day, you experience the radically remade life he planned for you all along.
REFLECT: How are you doing in your relationship with God? What’s the next step you can take to grow closer?
PRAY: Tell God you want to get closer to him-and tell him you want to do your part.

What heights of love, what depths of peace
when fears are stilled, when strivings cease;
my Comforter, my All in All;
here in the love of Christ I stand.
2 In Christ alone who took on flesh;
fullness of God in helpless babe.
This gift of love and righteousness
scorned by the ones He came to save;
'til on that cross as Jesus died
the wrath of God was satisfied;
for ev'ry sin on Him was laid;
here in the death of Christ I live.
3 There in the ground His body lay;
Light of the world by darkness slain.
Then bursting forth in glorious day,
up from the grave He rose again!
And as He stands in victory,
sin's curse has lost its grip on me;
for I am His and He is mine,
bought with the precious blood of Christ!
4 No guilt in life, no fear in death;
this is the pow'r of Christ in me.
From life's first cry to final breath,
Jesus commands my destiny.
No pow'r of hell, no scheme of man
can ever pluck me from His hand;
'til He returns or calls me home,
here in the pow'r of Christ I'll stand!
