THE LIVING AND ACTIVE POWER OF GOD'S WORD 2
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires." Hebrews 4:12 NLT.
The Word of God is powerful, and it has the power to create, heal, deliver, and transform. We read in the book of Genesis, at creation, when it took God simply speaking, to have earth created.
The same Word of the LORD Jesus that calmed the storm on the lake still speaks peace into troubled hearts today.
No power on earth can resist the authority of God’s Word.
In contrast to human words that fade with time, the Word of God endures eternally, and gives life to dead circumstances.
When you give room to God’s Word to indwell you, it revives your spirit and renews your mind.
PRAYER BULLETS:
LORD Jesus, I count it a privilege to be numbered as one of Your own. May I continually access the living and active power of Your Word, to Your glory and my blessings.
