Good evening, brethren.
1. Our evening prayer focuses on "preparing our hearts for worship."
2. Do you know about the Chrismas census?
3. Do you honour the Lord with your possession?
4. Do you know that Christ made the world?
To k ow more, read the message below:
1. Evening Prayer
I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. ⏤ Psalm 138:2
The reality of prayer is found in a life that is devoted to God. ⏤ Andrew Murray
We will praise You, O God, with our whole heart. We will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name for Your lovingkindness and for Your truth, for You have magnified Your word above all Your name.
In the day when we cried to You, You answered us. We thank You for Your love, which never fails, and for Your grace, which is given for every moment of need. Though You are high, yet You have regard for the lowly. Your eyes see even the least of Your redeemed children. The youngest child is watched over by You. You hear the cry of the birds in their hunger. We rejoice to think of the care You have for every child of Your own, and how secure we are in the keeping of Your love. You have been, and You are, our dwelling place.
Though we walk in the midst of trouble, You will protect us. You will stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of the Evil One, who seeks our destruction. Forsake not the work of Your own hands. Allow us not to fall away into darkness and into the pains of eternal death, but deliver us, we beseech You, from all sin, and save us to eternal life.
May this evening be one of preparation for the coming Sunday. Grant us rest so that we may be ready for the day's duties and worship. Then turn our thoughts and affections toward Sunday worship, that we may be in the Spirit on the Lord's day. Give holy thoughts to all who are preparing to speak the words of life to Your people. Warm their hearts with Your love, and hold them near to You, that they may come from the very secret of Your presence to stand and speak for You before others. We ask all in the name of our Redeemer. Amen.

With Your possessions, Honor the Lord – (Proverbs 3:9-10)
With Your possessions, Honor the Lord – (Proverbs 3:9-10)
Daily Proverbs
Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.
Daily Bible Study
Everything we have is a gift from the Lord. And it’s the Lord who gave us our talents and our abilities to earn our living and provide for ourselves and our family. Our faith in Christ calls us to use our increase and our talents to honor the Lord. By first giving back to the Lord with our time, talents and wealth and by doing so, we honor God and provide for kingdom work. Not as an obligation to God, but because of our love for the Lord. We do this out of the love we have for Jesus and not because we have to. This basic principle is so important because cheerfully giving out of our love for God shows our trust and faith in the Lord to provide for our needs.
We have to remember as followers of Jesus, we were bought at a price, we are no longer our own, but we belong to God as children of God and joint-heirs with Christ in the kingdom of God. Therefore, our joy and our privilege, is to honor the Lord and glorify His name, with our time, talents and resources. And our love for others is no better displayed than through our giving to help those in need and share the Gospel with those who are lost in a dark and dying world. To use what we have to display the light of Christ to others. In addition, it’s a blessing and a gift from God Himself, which allows us to participate in His kingdom work of blessing others as a result of our giving. This is also part of stewardship, which is to wisely use what God has given us, to help ourselves, our families, those in need around us and to support fellow workers in the kingdom of God.

Christ Made The World
Think about the world into which our Lord Jesus Christ came—it is actually Christ’s world! Every section of this earth that we buy and sell and kick around and take by force of arms is a part of Christ’s world. He made it all, and He owns it all. Jesus Christ, the eternal Word, made the world. He made the very atoms of which Mary was made; the atoms of which His own body was made. He made the straw in the manger upon which He was laid as a newborn baby. Let me digress here. I hear an occasional devotional exercise on the radio, in which the participants solicit, “Mary, mother of God, pray for us!” It is only right that we should express our position based on the Word of God; and the truth is that Mary is dead, and she is not the “mother of God.” Mary was the mother of that tiny babe, for God in His loving and wise plan of redemption used the body of the virgin Mary as the matrix to give the eternal Son a human body. We join in giving her proper honor when we refer to her as Mary, mother of Christ.
Verse
God hath spoken unto us by his . . . by whom he made the worlds. Hebrews 1:12

Prayer
Lord, we only do You honor when we look at You in the right light. You are our God, the Creator of all, and the great I AM. I recognize that there is nobody else in that category. No created thing can create the Creator.
