Good morning, brethren.
1. Our morning prayer focuses on "rejoicing in God's care."
2. Are you a finisher of God’s work?
3. Do you know the greatest guilt of Israel?
4. Do you know the prince of peace?
To know more, read the message below:
1. Morning Prayer
[A Psalm] of David. Blessed [be] the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, [and] my fingers to fight: My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and [he] in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me. ⏤ Psalm 144:1-2
Prayer is the language of a man burdened with a sense of need. ⏤ E.M. Bounds
Blessed are You, O God, our strength, who teaches our hands to war and our fingers to fight. Teach us to war against all wickedness. You are our goodness and our fortress, our high tower, our deliverer, our shield, and the God in whom we trust. You are our refuge and strength, our keeper in the midst of trouble, and our deliverer.
Lord, what is man that You take knowledge of him? Man is like vanity; his days are as a shadow that passes away. Yet we rejoice in Your love and thought for Your redeemed children. Though we are so frail, like a flower, like the reed, bruised and broken—still You do indeed take account of us. You have put Your image upon us. You have put Your Spirit within us. You have made us Your own children. We are dearer to You than all other things in the universe because we are Your own children, and You are our Father, and because You have redeemed us at the price of the blood of Your own Son. In the person of Your Son, we are as dear to You as He is. Help us to realize our nearness and dearness to You.
We would rejoice as a family in Your goodness and grace. Rid us and deliver us from the hand of evil men, whose mouths speak vanity and whose right hands are right hands of falsehood. May our sons be as plants grown up in their youth. May our daughters be as cornerstones polished after the similitude of a palace. May our garners be full, that we may feed the hungry. May we all honor You by holy and beautiful lives.
Fill our home today with Your love, and may all of us receive from You grace, mercy, and truth, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

2. MORNING TEA. THE WORD FOR TODAY
SUNDAY DECEMBER 14, 2025.
"FINISHING STRONG"
‘I must be about My Father’s business.’ Luke 2:49 NKJV
If the word ‘quit’ is part of your vocabulary, chances are that the word ‘finish’ isn’t. Finishing means staying on the job until it’s done. It’s about accountability and action, because even when you’re on the right track you’ll get run over if you just sit there. High achievers will tell you that life takes on meaning when you take responsibility for your actions and pursue your goals with purpose and passion. Nothing compares to ‘the rush’ of crossing the finish line. The fact is, nobody remembers who finished second, except the guy who finished second! Co-authors B.J. Gallagher and Steve Ventura said the ten most important words in finishing strong are: ‘I won’t wait for others to take the first step.’ The nine most important: ‘If it is to be, it’s up to me.’ Eight: ‘If not me, who? If not now, when?’ Seven: ‘Let me have a go at it.’ Six: ‘I will not pass the buck.’ Five: ‘You can count on me.’ Four: ‘It IS my job.’ Three: ‘Just do it!’ Two: ‘I will.’ And the most important word: ‘Me.’ Jesus was the greatest finisher of all time. At age twelve, He told His parents, ‘I must be about My Father’s business.’ Later He told His disciples, ‘I must work the works of Him who sent Me’ (John 9:4 NKJV). Facing the cross, He said, ‘For this cause I was born’ (John 18:37 NKJV). And just before He died, He said, ‘It is finished!’ (John 19:30 NIV). Then, having earned the right to become our advocate with God, He went back to heaven and ‘sat down’ (Hebrews 10:12). Mission accomplished! So focus on finishing strong!

Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.
—Proverbs 10:12
To hate, to discriminate against those who look different, who talk different, who have different national backgrounds, or who act differently from the dominant group, is a universal trait of human nature. I say that there is only one possible solution and that is a vital experience with Christ on the part of all races. In Christ the middle wall of partition is broken down, the Bible says. There is no Jew or Gentile, or black or white or yellow or red. We could be one great brotherhood in Christ. However, until we come to recognize Him as the Prince of Peace, and receive His love in our hearts, the racial tensions will increase.
Prayer for the day
I pray for Your love, Lord Jesus, to conquer hate or prejudice—whenever these ugly transgressions seep into my heart.
