HUMILITY IN THE MANGER
Philippians 2:6-8 "He was like God in every way, but he did not think that his being equal with God was something to use for his own benefit. Instead, he gave up everything, even his place with God. He accepted the role of a servant, appearing in human form. During his life as a man, he humbled himself by being fully obedient to God, even when that caused his death- death on a cross."
The King who deserved a throne chose a manger. Jesus humbled Himself for our sake, modelling a life not driven by pride, but by love. In a world that celebrates status and power, Christmas calls us to follow Christ's humility; choosing service over recognition and compassion over ego. How can you show humility like Jesus today?
PRAYER
Lord Jesus, shape my heart to reflect Your humility. I give You my whole heart today, remove everything that does not reflect who You are. In Jesus' name. Amen
