DECEMBER UNITY PRAYER - THE UNITED PRAYER, FAITH AND DIVINE HEALTH

DAY 13

VICTORY IN BATTLES

Bible Verse:

Exodus 14:14 – “The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”

INTRODUCTION

Every believer faces battles—spiritual, emotional, financial, marital, and generational. But the good news is this: God never sends His children into a battle He has not already won. Victory is not something we pursue; it is something we enforce in Christ.

1. GOD FIGHTS FOR HIS PEOPLE

In Scripture, God consistently positions Himself as the Warrior of His people.

Israel stood helpless before the Red Sea, but God parted the waters.

Jehoshaphat faced three nations but God told him, “The battle is not yours, but God’s.”
(2 Chronicles 20:15)

David defeated Goliath, not by sword, but by covenant confidence.

Your battles do not intimidate God. Your enemies cannot withstand Him.

2. METAPHOR: THE SHADOW AND THE SUN

Imagine walking toward the sun early in the morning—you see your shadow stretching behind you.
But if you turn your back to the sun, your shadow falls in front and looks bigger.

The shadow represents your battles. The sun represents God.
When you face God, your battles stay behind you.
When you turn from God, your battles look larger than life.

Victory is about focus—not on the enemy, but on the Almighty.

3. HOW GOD GIVES VICTORY

a. Through His Presence

“If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)
Where God is, defeat cannot stand.

b. Through His Word

Jesus defeated Satan in the wilderness by Scripture, not by shouting.

c. Through Praise and Worship

Jehoshaphat won the battle while the choir was singing “Praise the Lord…”

d. Through Obedience

Walls of Jericho fell because Israel followed instructions.

4. REFLECTION

What battles am I fighting on my own strength?

Have I surrendered the fight completely to God?

Is my focus on the battle or on the One who wins battles?

What is God teaching me through this situation?

Am I using the weapons of the Word, praise, and prayer?

5. DECLARATION

Declare this boldly:

“In the name of Jesus, I am victorious.
I am not a victim of any spiritual, emotional, or physical battle.
The Lord fights for me.
Every Goliath before me falls.
Every Red Sea parts.
Every Jericho wall collapses.
I walk in divine victory.
I win because Christ won for me.
Amen!”

6. PRAYER POINTS

1. Father, thank You because the battle is not mine, but Yours.

2. Lord, arise and fight every battle confronting my life, family, ministry, and destiny.

3. O God, give me victory where I have been experiencing prolonged struggles.

4. Every invisible battle attacking my progress—scatter by fire in Jesus’ name.

5. Lord, open my eyes to see the spiritual weapons You have provided for me.

6. I declare supernatural victory over every challenge in my life, in Jesus’ mighty name. If you have not given your life to Jesus kindly do so by joining a Bible believing Church. You can get good ebooks from my Selar Store by clicking the link below https://selar.com/6x5v7wg56m
