*ЁЯХК DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 350*
* DATE:16TH DECEMBER, 2025*
*TOPIC: THE ADVANTAGE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:JOHN 16:7 (NKJV)*
*тАЬNevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.тАЭ*
*DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE*

If anyone had asked the disciples whether there was something better than the physical presence of Jesus, they would have confidently answered no. Walking with Jesus, seeing His miracles, hearing His teachings, and witnessing His life firsthand seemed like the highest privilege. Yet Jesus surprised them by saying that it was for their own good that He returned to the Father.

Christ explained that His departure would make room for the coming of the Holy Spirit, who would no longer walk beside them, but would dwell within them. The assignment given to the disciples was far greater than human strength could accomplish. It required divine empowerment, divine wisdom, and divine authorityтАФthings that could only come through the Holy Spirit.

Another critical reason for the coming of the Holy Spirit was His role in convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. This was clearly demonstrated in Acts 2:37, where after Peter preached under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the Word pierced the hearts of the people. They cried out, тАЬWhat shall we do?тАЭ Peter responded by calling them to repentance and baptism, promising that they too would receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

As disciples of Jesus today, we need the Holy SpiritтАФnot merely for signs, wonders, and miracles, though these do confirm the GospelтАФbut so that the Word we speak becomes Spirit and life, producing conviction, repentance, and faith in Jesus Christ.

Jesus Himself modeled this dependence. He declared that He only spoke what He heard from the Father, showing us the importance of divine guidance. Apostle Paul further teaches that the Holy Spirit searches the deep things of God and reveals them to us, so that we do not speak from human wisdom but from divine instruction.

Child of God, the Holy Spirit enables us to speak what God desires, not what we think. Without Him, our words are empty; with Him, our words carry power, life, and eternal impact.

*PRAYER*

Father, thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit. I acknowledge that without Him I can do nothing. Fill me afresh, guide my words, empower my life, and help me speak only what You desire. Let my life and message bring conviction, repentance, and faith in Christ. In JesusтАЩ Name, Amen.
