Beloved, who are the people in your life? What is your yardstick of measuring their value and relevance to you? Who and what are you to others?
People are seen as vessels according to this verse of Scripture. And some are to honour and others to dishonour.
Any person in your life that is adding to your value, drawing your potential, helping you become better, adding to your comfort and joy, inspiring you to be like Jesus Christ, etc is a vessel of honour.
Contrarily, any person adding problem to you, devaluing you, bringing shame and disgrace, deepening your pain, etc is a vessel on to dishonour.
It is high time we purge ourselves to become vessels of honour not just to God and in the church BUT ALSO TO OUR FELLOW MEN, HUSBANDS, WIVES, FAMILY MEMBERS, FRIENDS, AND OTHERS.
I have chosen to be a vessel of honour both to God and man, that is why I strive to be a blessing to anyone that I am privileged to meet whether for one day or for a life time.
Let's be vessels of honour.
