This morning I watched this news report from Jamestown, North Dakota. A family that used to sing and play instruments while ringing a bell for the Salvation Army saw a sign on the kettle saying they were banned from doing that (it was later discovered an employee posted that sign without permission). The family was invited by other local businesses to sing and play their instruments in front of their stores. That was done to help another charity. It reminded me of what Proverbs 18:16 says, “A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men. https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=1303570545135660&set=a.346968107462580
