*🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 352*
* DATE:18TH DECEMBER, 2025*
*TOPIC:GUARD YOUR CIRCLE*
*Anchor Scripture:2 Corinthians 6:14 —(NKJV)*
*“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?”*
*Devotional Message*
When Apostle Paul warns believers not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, many of us immediately relate this teaching to marriage—and rightly so. However, this instruction goes deeper than marital relationships. Paul was also addressing partnerships, associations, and close circles that can either strengthen or weaken our faith and obedience to God.
Unequal yoking is not limited to associating with sinners alone, but also includes walking closely with people who do not believe in the vision, calling, or assignment God has placed upon your life. Such people often judge God’s promises based on your present condition. They speak words of impossibility, discouragement, and doubt. If allowed to remain in your inner circle, their words can slowly drain your faith and cause the God-given vision to fade.
The fact that a vision has not manifested yet does not mean it will never appear. Faith is the currency that downloads spiritual realities into the physical realm. That is why you cannot afford to surround yourself with people who only see how big the mountain is instead of believing in the God who moves mountains. Vision thrives in an environment of shared faith.
In the pursuit of God’s purpose for your life, you need people of the same spirit, same faith, and same conviction—men and women who will push you toward destiny, not pull you back into doubt. Your circle can either accelerate your progress or completely shut down your calling.
Consider the disciples of Jesus. Despite persecution, beatings, and threats, they encouraged one another and boldly continued spreading the Gospel. Had they yoked themselves with those who easily gave up and doubted Jesus, the mission could have stalled. But they shared the same belief system, and because of that unity of faith, the Gospel advanced powerfully.
Child of God, guard your associations. Walk with those who believe what God has said concerning you. Destiny is too important to be entrusted to the wrong circle.
*Prayer*
Father, help me to discern the relationships in my life. Separate me from every association that weakens my faith and align me with men and women who believe in Your promises and purpose for my life. Strengthen my faith to stand firm even when the vision has not yet manifested. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
