Good morning God

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with humble and repentant hearts, recognizing how weak and imperfect we are in loving one another. You have shown us the true meaning of love through Your Word, yet we confess that our love often fails. We are quick to lose patience, slow to show kindness, and easily drawn into pride, envy, and self-interest. Forgive us, Lord, for the many ways we fall short of the love described in 1 Corinthians 13:4–7—love that is patient and kind, not boastful or proud, not rude or self-seeking.

Father, we acknowledge that genuine love does not come from our human effort, but from You alone. Your Word says that You have poured Your love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). Therefore, we ask You to pour out Your divine grace upon us afresh. Holy Spirit, come and dwell deeply within us. Transform our hearts and renew our minds so that we may reflect the character of Christ in our daily lives (Romans 12:2).

Lord Jesus, teach us to walk in love as You loved us and gave Yourself for us (Ephesians 5:2). When we are tempted to insist on our own way, help us to walk in humility and to consider others above ourselves (Philippians 2:3–4). When we feel irritable or resentful, remind us of Your forgiveness and give us grace to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13). Let our love not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoice in the truth, guided by Your Word (Psalm 119:160).

Father, form within us a love that bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Let the fruit of the Spirit—especially love—be evident in us (Galatians 5:22). May the love of Christ rule our hearts and bind us together in perfect unity (Colossians 3:14).

We surrender ourselves to Your work in us, trusting that You will complete what You have begun (Philippians 1:6).

In the precious name of Jesus Amen .
