Exodus 15:26 NIV He said, “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.”

Good morning and praise God. I hope you're having a great day. Recently, I was reviewing the story of this woman in the Bible who has bled for twelve years. The Bible says she had wasted her money with physicians and instead of getting better, her ailments had actually worsened. She then made this bold step of faith and touched Jesus and was instantly healed! A single touch of faith saved her after twelve years of suffering and loss. In our today's verse, God promises his children that if they listen to Him, that is to say, if they have faith in Him only and obey, He will not bring on them diseases He bring on those that have rejected Him for He is God who heals them. He is Jehovah Rapha. God is speaking to us this morning telling us that our healing is in our choice to have faith in Jim and obey Him. It is conditional! The world suffering will always be present as those that reject God slowly but surely receive His wrath. In the Bible, the Egyptian were suffering silently as their stubborn king refused to obey God. They suffered in all ways, health, losses of property , nature turning against them and even death. Imagine at all this time, the people of God , Israelites, in Goshen, were suffering none of those God's wrath. Child of God, it is not the world around you that will change but instead it is you who need to change. It is you who needs to be counted among God's people. I am pretty sure if an Egyptian went to stay with Israelites at Goshen, he or she would not experience suffering. Our choice is very paramount.
