THE PILGRIMS GUIDE WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 24, 2025 DIVINE RESTORATION AFTER LOSS A WORD FROM THE WORD: "I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten — the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm— my great army that I sent among you. You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the LORD your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed." Joel 2:25-26 NIV. The context of our anchor Scripture talks about restoration or recovery of blessings and honour after being exposed to times of hardship or shame, and it captures the idea of being lifted up and receiving blessings from God after experiencing disgrace or difficulties. God promises that He will repay all the years you've lost, and of course you are rest assured that the repayments will not just be monetarily alone, but that the grace you will find with Him will be in abundance, to the extent that His glory will be shining in, around and about you. God offers you something more than gold, that is His Spirit in you, after reproach. All you just need to do is to believe His promise and align yourself and your faith with Him and to His Word. God is the Omnipotent, He has every power to bring His word to fruition, and restoring you back to dignity is no big deal for Him. Just believe Him.
