He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant forever: holy and reverend [is] his name. ⏤ Psalm 111:9
Let us never treat God’s name with less than holy reverence. ⏤ A.W. Tozer
Our Father who are in Heaven, hallowed be Your name. Teach us how to hallow Your name. Show us how holy it is, and how sacred. Even the angels in Heaven speak it in reverent breath. It shines like the sun in its glory. All Your attributes are manifested in Your name. All that You are is in Your name. All the glory of the universe which You have made—is less glorious than is Your name, for You are greater than all Your works.
Hallowed be Your name. Help us to hallow it in our own souls, to hold it as sacred. Teach us to reverence You. Give us a glimpse of Your holy glory, that we may know how to adore Your name in our hearts. Then teach us how to hallow Your name in all our life. May we hallow it in our speech. Let us never speak Your name without love and reverence. May its every mention fill our hearts with holy thoughts of You. We are Your children and we bear Your name. Teach us how to live, so that we shall hallow Your name in ourselves. Let us never dishonor You, by living in any way unworthy of You. May we be holy, as You are holy. May we in our speech, in our conduct, in You whose name we bear. May our light so shine before men, that they may see our good works and glorify You, our Father in Heaven.
Then may we have grace to do much in the world to bring honor and glory to Your name. Help us to win others to You, so that in their lives Your name may be hallowed. We are little in Your sight and cannot do much; but may we be enabled, in our own place and manner, to honor You, and to help to bring all the world to say, "Hallowed be Your name." 8. And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night.

10. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.
11. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord.
12. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."
13. Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
14. "Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom His favor rests."
15. When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about."
*TOPIC:*
CELEBRATE THE SAVIOUR
*THE MESSAGE:*
Glory to God in the highest as we celebrate the salvation and peace Jesus brings to us. Immediately the Saviour was born, the angel of the Lord reached out to shepherds with the news. They were gripped with fear, but were encouraged not to be afraid, "I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today... a saviour has been born; He is Christ the Lord." The heavenly host celebrated Christ's birth with praises. The shepherds worshipped Him and spread the good news to others. Indeed, Christ has come to deliver you from sin and death, as well as from sickness and disease. Believe this good news. Celebrate Him and tell others about this great salvation story.
*REFLECTION:*

3. MORNING TEA. THE WORD FOR TODAY
THURSDAY DECEMBER 25, 2025.
"SEEKING GOD (2)"
‘They saw the young Child…and worshipped Him.’ Matthew 2:11 NKJV
NOTICE TWO more things about the wise men: 1) How God guided them. ‘The star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was…And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshipped Him’ (vv. 9-11 NKJV). Never limit God. And don’t lock Him into a personal experience you had in the past where He guided you in a certain way. If God can move a star, He can rearrange any circumstance in your favour. How did the wise men know about the birth of Christ? Maybe because of an alignment of the planets, or because they were students of Old Testament prophecy. We don’t know. But one thing is certain: they were seeking God—and that’s the point at which we must all begin. 2) How God protected them. Herod wasn’t happy about the news these men brought. Indeed, he was downright enraged. Think: if he was willing to kill every Jewish baby boy under the age of two in order to get at Jesus, what were the chances that these men would get out of town alive? Not great—until God stepped in! ‘Then, being divinely warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed for their own country another way’
(v. 12 NKJV). The devil is real, but you don’t have to be afraid, because Jesus has already defeated him. The main thing is: when your heart is set on seeking God, He will guide you, protect you and reward you.

TOPIC: THE BRIGHT AND MORNING STAR
MEMORISE:
"I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star." - (Revelation 22:16)
READING BIBLE: MATTHEW 2:1-12 (KJV)
1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.
5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,
6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.
7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.
8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.
9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
12 And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.
MESSAGE:
There are about one hundred billion stars in the galaxy, and God calls them all by their names (Psalm 147:4). The Bible even mentions Orion, a constellation of stars (Amos 5:8), and Wormwood (Revelation 8:11). Among all the stars, God gave a special assignment to one of them. We don't know the star's name, but God surely knows it, and He must have called that star by its name and commissioned it to lead the wise men to Jesus.
In today's Bible reading, the wise men, who were probably astrologers, talked about a star that they saw in the sky and how they knew that it belonged to a king. They followed the star all the way from their country to Israel, and as long as they followed it, it led them on the right track. If they had stopped following the star, they would have surely lost their way and begun to wander in darkness and confusion. People who celebrate Christmas without having Jesus can be said to be wandering in the dark. They can eat, drink, and be merry, but they will remain in darkness. You do not have to continue dwelling in darkness if you are like this. Jesus has come as the light of the world (John 8:12) to illuminate every place where there is darkness in your life. As the world celebrates his birth today, this is the perfect time to give your life to Him.
As soon as the wise men left Jerusalem and resumed their search for the King, the star led them to where Jesus was (Matthew 2:9). That star fulfilled its mission of leading the wise men to the Bright and Morning Star, Jesus. Every believer is like that star, called and commissioned to lead others to Jesus. As a believer, even as you celebrate the birth of Jesus today, do not forget that you are on a mission to lead others to Him. That star is still being spoken of today because it fulfilled its mission to lead the wise men to Jesus. As long as you keep leading and influencing others to follow Jesus, you will remain relevant in God's agenda. Our Lord Jesus is the Bright and Morning Star, and your life should lead others to Him.
Beloved, if you are yet to give your life to Jesus, do so today. He is waiting for you to come to Him because He wants to set you free from the tyranny of darkness and confusion. Merry Christmas!

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: REVELATION 1-3
HYMNAL: 17 PRAISE MY SOUL, THE KING OF HEAVEN
Representative Text
1 Praise, my soul, the King of heaven;
to his feet your tribute bring.
Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven,
evermore his praises sing.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Praise the everlasting King!
2 Praise him for his grace and favor
to his people in distress.
Praise him, still the same as ever,
slow to chide, and swift to bless.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Glorious in his faithfulness!
3 Fatherlike he tends and spares us;
well our feeble frame he knows.
In his hand he gently bears us,
rescues us from all our foes.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Widely yet his mercy flows!
4 Angels, help us to adore him;
you behold him face to face.
Sun and moon, bow down before him,
dwellers all in time and space.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Praise with us the God of grace!
