DECEMBER UNITY PRAYER - A MONTH OF UNITY PRAYER, FAITH AND DIVINE HEALTH

DAY 25
“DECEMBER 25 – A UNIQUE BIRTH, A UNIQUE DAY”

INTRODUCTION

December 25 stands out in history as a unique day because it points us to a unique birth—the birth of Jesus Christ. This was not an ordinary child, born in an ordinary way, on an ordinary day. Heaven interrupted earth. Eternity stepped into time. God became flesh to redeem mankind. The uniqueness of December 25 is not just the date, but the divine purpose it represents.

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder…” — Isaiah 9:6

THE UNIQUE BIRTH

Jesus’ birth was unique in nature, purpose, and power.

1. Born of a Virgin
“Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” — Isaiah 7:14
This birth defied biology and proved that salvation is by divine intervention, not human effort.

2. Born as the Savior of the World
“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” — Luke 2:11
He was born not to take a throne but to carry a cross.

3. Born with Heaven’s Announcement
“And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God…” — Luke 2:13–14
When Jesus was born, heaven could not keep silent.

THE UNIQUE DAY

December 25 symbolizes a turning point—darkness giving way to light.

“The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light…” — Isaiah 9:2

This day reminds us that:

Hope was born

Grace was released

Redemption was activated

Joy entered the world

“The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…” — John 1:14

METAPHOR

The birth of Jesus is like light breaking forth at midnight.
Midnight represents the darkest hour, but when Christ was born, light shattered the darkness. Just as dawn announces a new day, Jesus’ birth announced a new covenant, new hope, and new life.

“I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness…” — John 8:12

REFLECTION

If God could bring salvation through a manger, He can bring greatness out of humble beginnings.

If Christ’s birth changed history, an encounter with Him can change your destiny.

December 25 is not just a celebration—it is a call to salvation, obedience, and gratitude.

“Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.” — 2 Corinthians 9:15

Ask yourself:

Is Christ truly born in my heart?

Am I reflecting His light to the world?

DECLARATION

Lift your voice and declare:

I receive the life and light of Christ.

By the unique birth of Jesus, my destiny is redeemed.

Darkness has no power over my life.

This season ushers me into joy, peace, and divine favor.

As Christ was celebrated, I shall be celebrated. “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature…” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

PRAYER POINTS

1. Father, thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

2. Let the power of Christ’s birth bring new beginnings into my life.

3. Every darkness around my destiny, be dispelled by the Light of Christ.

4. Lord, let joy, peace, and favor accompany me before this year ends.

5. As Christ was born to fulfill purpose, help me fulfill my divine assignment.

6. Let my household experience the blessings of this unique day.

7. I declare that December 25 marks a turning point for my life and family.

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” — Luke 2:14

CONCLUSION

December 25 is more than a date—it is a divine reminder that God keeps His promises. A unique birth gave us salvation, and a unique day reminds us that God still specializes in unique miracles. As we celebrate Christ, may His life be fully expressed in us.

Amen. If you have not given your life to Jesus Christ, kindly do so by joining a Bible believing Church. You can get ebooks from my Selar Store by clicking the link below
