THE PILGRIMS GUIDE THURSDAY DECEMBER 25, 2025 GOD'S LOVE REVEALED THROUGH GIVING A WORD FROM THE WORD: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16 NKJV It's that time of the year when we not only celebrate the greatest Gift mankind has been given, but we also share gifts with family, friends and even communities. During Christmas (and other seasons), we give and receive gifts from family, friends and organisations. None of the gifts we give or receive can be as 'good and perfect' (James 1:17 ESV) as the Gift of Our LORD Jesus from God, our Father. Our LORD Jesus is the perfect Gift because God gave Him with knowledge of our needs. God knew we needed a Saviour, Deliverer, Redeemer, Healer, and Friend. We needed someone who was fully God and fully man. Only Jesus could meet this need. As you rejoice in, and enjoy this season, don't lose sight of the truth that the perfect Gift, even our LORD Jesus Christ is the reason; and God's clearest expression for His love for humanity. PRAYER BULLETS: My Father and God, may I never take for granted Your perfect Gift to me and humanity at large. But to be like You by living and spreading the Gospel abroad.
