DECEMBER UNITY PRAYER - A MONTH OF UNITED PRAYER, FAITH AND DIVINE HEALTH

DAY 26
“END OF YEAR BLESSINGS”

INTRODUCTION

As the year draws to a close, many people look back with mixed emotions—gratitude, relief, lessons learned, and hopes yet unfulfilled. But the end of the year is not a season of loss; it is a season of blessings. Our God is the One who crowns the year with goodness, and what He has planned for the end can be greater than the beginning.

“Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.” — Psalm 65:11

UNDERSTANDING END OF YEAR BLESSINGS

End-of-year blessings are divine rewards, restorations, and surprises released by God before the year closes.

1. Blessings That Complete the Year Well
“Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof…” — Ecclesiastes 7:8
God specializes in finishing what He started.

2. Blessings That Come Suddenly
“And the Lord turned the captivity of Job… also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.” — Job 42:10
God can compress a year’s testimony into a moment.

3. Blessings That Speak for the Future
“The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.” — Proverbs 10:22

METAPHOR

End-of-year blessings are like harvest gathered at sunset.
Though the sun is setting on the year, the farmer does not stop working until the harvest is complete. In the same way, God does not abandon His blessings just because the year is ending. What seems late is often perfectly timed.

“Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.” — Hebrews 10:35

REFLECTION

The end of the year is a time to count God’s faithfulness.

What did not happen earlier can still happen now.

Delay is not denial; God’s timing is always purposeful.

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” — Philippians 1:6

Ask yourself:

Have I trusted God to the end?

Am I expectant or discouraged as the year closes?

DECLARATION

Declare with faith:

I shall end this year in praise, not in pain.

The goodness of God shall locate me before the year ends.

Every unfinished testimony shall be completed.

I receive divine surprises and open doors.

I move into the new year with testimonies in my hands.

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…” — Psalm 23:6

PRAYER POINTS

1. Father, thank You for preserving my life throughout this year.

2. Lord, crown this year with goodness in my life and family.

3. Every delayed blessing assigned to this year, manifest now by fire.

4. Let every remaining day of this year favor me.

5. Restore every loss I experienced this year.

6. Let the end of this year bring joy, peace, and fulfillment.

7. I reject sorrow, shame, and disappointment at the close of this year.

8. Father, let me step into the new year with undeniable testimonies.

“And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer…” — Isaiah 65:24

CONCLUSION

The end of the year is not a deadline for despair but a divine opportunity for blessings. God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think—even at the eleventh hour. As this year closes, may your life be crowned with testimonies, and may your mouth be filled with praise.

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all…” — Ephesians 3:20
