1. Morning Prayer
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: ⏤ John 11:25
Because He lives, we face tomorrow with hope and joy. ⏤ Charles Wesley
Lord Jesus, who died for our sins and rose again, we worship You on this day. You are the resurrection and the life, bringing eternal life and hope to all who believe. Death could not hold You, and You have conquered it, defeating the last enemy.
We rejoice today in the blessings You have given us through Your resurrection. You have faced every power of evil and have triumphed over every enemy. We have nothing to fear, not even death, for You have proven Yourself to be Lord over all, holding the keys to life and death. You will save all who trust in You.
You, who once were dead, now live forever. You are our living Friend and Companion, and we trust in Your help in every need, trial, and danger.
On this Lord’s day, we remember Your victory over death and ask You to lead us into a deeper fellowship with You. May this be a day of victory for us as well, a day where we overcome sin and rise to new life and hope. Help us to conquer earthly desires and enter into new freedom in You. May we experience a renewal of life.
We ask that You bless this Sunday, making it a day of real spiritual growth for us and many others. Bless the churches everywhere. May Your power be with all who preach and teach Your Word today. Help us to open our hearts to receive Your love and the power of Your Holy Spirit. We give all the praise to the Father through You, our Savior. Amen.

2. MORNING TEA. THE WORD FOR TODAY
SUNDAY DECEMBER 28, 2025.
"GOD CAN LIFT YOU UP (1)"
‘He will lift you up.’ James 4:10 NKJV
THE BIBLE says, ‘Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.’ It works this way: when you try to exalt yourself, God brings you down, but when you humble yourself in His sight, He lifts you up. He does it because you’re His child and He loves you. You may feel like a nobody right now, but in God’s eyes you’re a somebody. Who but God could reach behind a hedge, find a Gypsy Smith and use him to win multitudes to Christ? Who but God could go to Old Comiskey Park in Chicago, find a baseball player called Billy Sunday and use him to impact the world? Who but God could look in a Galilean fishing boat and find Peter, call him, transform him and use him to build the church? God loves to do things like that. And since He ‘does not show favouritism’ (Romans 2:11 NIV) you’ve every right to believe He will do it for you too. The Bible says, ‘As he thinketh in his heart, so is he’ (Proverbs 23:7 KJV). When that little voice inside you whispers, ‘You’ve no talent and you’ll never amount to anything in life,’ that’s not God. It’s satan—and the Bible says he’s a liar (John 8:44)! That’s why you need to tell him, ‘I don’t believe a word you’re saying. You can’t put me down because God is raising me up.’ God’s plan for you was established long before you were born, and He hasn’t changed His mind. So you need to discover His plan, then make sure your feelings, thoughts, actions and words line up with it.

3. OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL
DATE: SUNDAY, DECEMBER 28, 2025.
TOPIC: HE FORGIVES ALL
MEMORISE
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." - (1 John 1:9)
READ: Psalm 103:8-13 (KJV)
8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.
MESSAGE
Years ago, a devout Muslim heard the gospel during one of our programmes and became born again. He was overwhelmed with joy, and we rejoiced with him. Three days later, he came to me and asked, "Are you sure Jesus can forgive all sins?" I said, "Yes". He said, "You have not heard all that I have done. The evil I have done is so much, and I don't think He can forgive everything." I asked him, "Have you given your life to Him?" He said, "Yes". I responded, "Please, go home rejoicing; Jesus has forgiven all." After another three days, he returned and said, "You have not heard everything I did." Then, he proceeded to recount various sins that he had committed. I told him that once people give their lives to Christ, God gives them brand-new beginnings. He kept coming back to me with doubts about specific sins that he thought were too big for Jesus to forgive until one day, he said, "If Jesus can forgive this sin that I'm about to tell you, then I won't worry anymore. I needed a man's heart to make a charm. A young relative died, and I went to his grave at night, exhumed his body, and cut out his heart for the charm. Do you think Jesus can forgive that?" I opened my Bible and showed him (1 John 1:7), which reads, "...and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." I then asked him, "What is the meaning of all?" After a while, he replied, "I think all means all." I said, "That is correct. It doesn't matter how many sins you have committed up until now. The moment you give your life to Jesus, God forgives you of them all. No sin is too big for God to forgive."
David knew the limitless extent of God's forgiveness, and he wrote in Psalm 103:12 that God removes our transgressions from us as far as the East is from the West. Whenever David asked God to forgive him and cleanse him of his sins, God always did so. All God wants from you whenever you fall into sin is your sincere repentance.
Beloved, when you truly repent of your sins, He is faithful and just to forgive you (1 John 1:9). True repentance is when a fellow stops engaging in sinful acts after God forgives him or her. God's mercy is truly without limits; however, His forgiving nature should birth a changed heart in you.
KEY POINT
The blood of Jesus cleanses from all sins.

*The narrative arouse from the backdrop of how the gospel was well taught and explained to the Galatian saints. But after Apostle Paul left, Judaizers infiltrated the church of Galatia, and distorted his teachings. It was erroneously claimed that salvation was still contingent on circumcision and other legalistic encumbrances of the Old Testament since faith alone was insufficient. They thus downplayed the sufficiency of Christ's atoning sacrifice and the provisions in the New Testament. Paul was extremely unhappy and surprised about what made the Galatians return to believing they were justified by keeping the Law. The only logical explanation Paul could find was that they were under a spell.*
*Today's world is witnessing serious aberrations being embraced by some so-called Christians. Celebrations like Halloween and Valentine's Day are subtle inventions that many do not realise are ways of diverting people's attention from God. Halloween is a celebration associated with magic, witchcraft, and occultism. Wiccans, warlocks, witches, and sorcerers commemorate and honour the dead and invoke their 'gods' on this day. These people celebrate Halloween with the same enthusiasm as Christians celebrate Christmas. Unsuspecting believers are deceived into believing that Valentine, celebrated every February 14, is a ceremony of love. But experience has shown that the event has often ended in wanton lust and moral defilement. God warns us not to engage in these ungodly and demonic practices, as they attract His displeasure.*
*As we inch closer to the end of this age, we are witnessing the multiplication of false teachers as predicted by our Lord and the apostles. The scale of deception also often involves telling believers they can live carelessly because grace covers them. We must not be "bewitched" but rather earnestly contend for the faith once delivered to the saints and fight the good fight of faith to defend sound doctrines.*
