Good evening, brethren.

1. Our evening focuses on "Faith in hardship."

2. Do you know that Christ is an everyday life?

3. Do you know that the end of sin is always pain, regreat, and destruction?

4. Which out of the two planes are you living?

To konw more, read the message below:

1. Evening Prayer

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. ⏤ Psalm 55:22

Faith grows strongest when it’s placed in the hands of a loving Father, even when the path is unseen. ⏤ Charles Spurgeon

God, bring us light this evening. Whatever shadows have lingered over us today, may they be lifted now as Your love surrounds us.

Sometimes life is hard to understand. We face troubles and sorrows, and our hearts ache. We experience loss and grief, and Your ways can be difficult to comprehend. It’s hard to see love in the midst of our pain, and we sometimes wonder if You are really with us, as the challenges we face seem overwhelming.

But Father, we thank You for the many assurances that in all Your ways, love is at work. Even when it seems like things are against us, we trust that You are working for our good, even if it takes time to see the outcome.

Give us a faith that never doubts Your love, no matter what we go through. Help us to trust You when we cannot see the way forward, knowing that in the end, we will understand and see the good that has come from our trials. Give us patience and teach us to wait on You, even when it’s hard to see Your hand at work.

We bring all our burdens to You tonight. We don’t want to carry them into the night with us. We leave them all with You. Take the tangled threads of our lives into Your hands and weave them into something beautiful. Forgive us for our doubts and fears, and for our small and weak faith. Give us the simple faith of a child, so we can rest in Your love and care.

May Your peace be with us tonight and always. Amen.

The End of Sin is Always Pain, Regret and Destruction – (Proverbs 5:11-14)
The End of Sin is Always Pain, Regret and Destruction – (Proverbs 5:11-14)

Daily Proverbs

And you mourn at last, when your flesh and your body are consumed, and say: "How I have hated instruction, and my heart despised correction I have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined my ear to those who instructed me I was on the verge of total ruin, in the midst of the assembly and congregation."
Daily Bible Study
Often times in our fallen state or when we are consumed by sin, we rebel against the Lord and all that is good, especially instruction and warning. It's very true of our sin nature that when we are in the midst of sin and rebellion against God, the last thing we want to hear is a warning of danger ahead. Because of our rebellion, we ignore the cry of someone trying to stop us from our own self-destruction. Instead in our pride we dive headlong into our desires even if it destroys our lives and the lives of those around us. And often times when we finally stop and look it can be too late as the passage above describes, we have destroyed our lives and hurt those around us. However, dear believer remember it is never too late for Jesus.

God can restore those years we have lost to sin when we place our trust in Christ alone. Moreover, with our faith in Christ, we become a new creation of God with every spiritual blessing. Even when we have lost everything, including today, we can still cry out to Jesus! He is always faithful, He is always waiting and He will always save us by God's grace. Until you breathe your last breath, it is never too late for Jesus to change you or your life. Remember our God is a God who restores lives, despite the damage we have done. In addition, as children of God, we must remember to walk closely with the Holy Spirit, in order to perceive His warning and roadblocks meant to prevent destruction. When we begin to fall into sin, God will often put roadblocks in our way as well as send people into our lives to warn us and turn our hearts back to God. It's important we observe these signs when they happen and turn back to God before destruction comes.

The Spiritual Essence
We who are the disciples of Jesus Christ often need to be reminded that God is allowing us to live on two planes at the same time. He lets us live in this religious plane, where there are preachers and song leaders and choirs, teachers and evangelists—and that is religion. It is actually “religion in overalls””the external part of religion, and it has its own place in God’s work and plan. But beyond that and superior to all of the externals in our religious experience is the spiritual essence of it all! It is that spiritual essence that I want to see enthroned in our communion and fellowship in the Church of Jesus Christ! We need the caution that much theology, much Bible teaching, and many Bible conferences begin and end in themselves. They circle fully around themselves, but when everyone goes home, no one is any better than he was before. We sorely need this caution about holding truth that begins and ends in itself. The danger is that we teach and live so that truth is given no opportunity of moral expression!

Verse
By the renewing of the Holy Ghost, which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ.Titus 3:5-6

Thought
We need the caution that much theology, much Bible teaching, and many Bible conferences begin and end in themselves.

Prayer
Lord, let us not be so caught up in “ministry” that we neglect our need for constant infilling of Your Holy Spirit.
