WHAT IS A MISSED PRAYER?
When Prayer Misses the Mark.
James 4:3 reveals the mystery of missed prayers: “You ask and do not receive it, because you ask amiss.”
Wrong prayers are not unanswered because God is unwilling, but because they are rooted in human thoughts and desires ( Isaiah 55:8) rather than God’s will. Prayer that flows from personal thoughts, selfish motives, or fleshly ambitions lacks divine alignment. God watches over His Word to perform it, not our opinions (Jeremiah 1:12).
When we pray God’s thoughts revealed in Scripture faith is activated, and faith is what pleases God (Hebrews 11:6). Pray the Word, and heaven responds.
