Born of Love

1 John 4:7 (NKJV)

(Let us love one another, for love is of God...)

Love is the defining mark of those who truly know God. John reminds us that love isn’t optional—it’s
the evidence of spiritual life. To love others well is to reveal the nature of the One who lives within us.

When we love, we show the world what God looks like. Gratitude fuels this love because thankful
hearts are open hearts. The more we appreciate God’s grace, the more freely we give it away.

Every act of love, no matter how small, carries eternal weight when done in Jesus’ name.

1. How does loving others reflect my relationship with God?

2. Who in my life needs to experience God’s love through me?

3. How can gratitude help me love more authentically?

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for loving me perfectly and patiently. Help me to reflect Your love to others through
kindness, forgiveness, and grace. Teach me to live as a true child of love. Amen.

Practical Application:

● Show love to someone who might not expect it from you.

● Write a note of appreciation to someone who has shown you God’s love.

● Thank God for those who have loved you through His Spirit.

Takeaway Thought:

When you love others, heaven’s heartbeat is heard through you.
