Nicole Shanahan — once deeply rooted in Silicon Valley progressivism and known as the ex-wife of Google cofounder Sergey Brin — is now boldly sharing how she found faith in Jesus through heartbreak, awakening, and an undeniable encounter with God.
Last year, while serving as RFK Jr.’s running mate, Nicole describes facing intense pressure, spiritual confusion, and a growing realization that “this is bigger than politics… something is happening globally to the spirit of humanity.”
Then came the moment that changed everything.
In September 2024, Nicole suffered a near-death miscarriage at 20 weeks. She lost nearly all her blood and felt life slipping away.
Yet in that darkness, she says, “I actually had peace… I knew God loved me.” Against the odds, she survived.
After leaving the hospital, a chaplain opened Scripture with her and explained the meaning of Christ’s sacrifice. It struck her deeply:
“You have to understand the power of Jesus’ blood… it’s a covenant.”
In her lowest moment, a simple truth became clear:
“Even when I am on my knees, God loves me.”
That awakening led her to be baptized — choosing faith over fame and obedience over political pressure.
She says she shared her testimony publicly for one reason:
“People are very spiritually lost right now… and I want to speak with clarity about what God has done in my life.”
