*🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 1*
* DATE:1ST JANUARY, 2026*
*TOPIC: JESUS CAME TO REVEAL THE THE TRUE GOD*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: JOHN 17:3NKJV*
*“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”*
*Devotional Message*

Over the past few days, we have been exploring the gifts that came with the birth of Jesus. One profound truth we discover is that Jesus came to reveal the true God and the truth about Him. In our key scripture, Jesus declares that eternal life is found in knowing God. This knowing is not merely information, but an intimate understanding of God’s nature and character.

One of the clearest ways we come to know God is by studying the life of Jesus, because Jesus is God revealed in human form. As Scripture tells us, “He who has seen Me has seen the Father.” Everything Jesus did on earth was a reflection of who God truly is.

God is rich in love and compassion, and this is clearly seen in the life of Jesus. When He saw the hungry and the sick, He was moved with compassion. He healed the sick and fed the multitudes by multiplying five loaves of bread and two fish. This shows us that God is not distant or indifferent to human needs, but deeply moved by them.

God is also merciful, and we see this vividly when Jesus encountered the woman caught in adultery. Instead of condemning her, He forgave her and withheld punishment, revealing to us a God who is full of mercy and eager to restore rather than destroy.

Therefore, we can boldly say that one of the reasons Jesus came was to give us a correct understanding of God. By studying Jesus—His words, actions, and responses—we come to know the heart of the Father. As we step into this season, let it be our pursuit, like the apostle Paul, to know God and the power of His resurrection, not just to know about Him, but to walk in intimate fellowship with Him.

*Prayer*

Father, thank You for revealing Yourself to us through Jesus Christ. Open my eyes to know You more deeply as I study the life of Jesus. Help me to grow in the knowledge of Your love, mercy, and compassion. Let my pursuit this season be to know You and walk in Your truth. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
