THE PILGRIMS GUIDE FRIDAY JANUARY 2, 2026 GOD'S REACTION WHEN WE HONOUR HIM.  A WORD FROM THE WORD:  "... Those who honor Me I will honor..." 1 Samuel 2:30 NKJV Honour helps us to receive the blessings of God and amount to something in His hand. Honour is a scarce virtue in most people, Christians inclusive. When you know how to honour God, He'll honour you in return. If you don't know how to honour God as His child, your relationship with Him will at best be classified as nominal.  Without submission honour cannot work.  From the context and subsequently, the narrative of our anchor Scripture, we can glean a truthful fact that in the old dispensation, the grace of God does not negate His justice, and seeing that the LORD Jesus has won grace for us by the virtue of His sacrificial and vicarious death, has invited us to walk in His steps based on the principle of honour which He fulfilled during His earthly life and ministry and pattern our lives like His who is 'Pattern Son', and not take the grace of God for granted and lightly.
