Evening devotional: 1. *DAILY WALK WITH CHRIST* (COCIN DEVOTIONAL) *DATE:* FRIDAY 2ND JANUARY, 2026. *SUB-THEME:* THE AMAZING GRACE OF GOD. *TOPIC:* GLORIOUS CREATION. *TEXT:* PSALM 19:1-6. 1. The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. 2. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. 3. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. 4. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun. 5. It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. 6. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth. *TOPIC:* GLORIOUS CREATION. *THE MESSAGE:* The Psalmist notes that creation pours forth speech day after day and reveals knowledge night after night. This suggests that God's creation is glorious and constantly communicates His attributes and character. The continuous revelation of God through creation reflects His desire for humanity to know Him. This is an act of grace, as God does not hide Himself but instead makes His presence known through the world around us. God desires us to appreciate His handiwork of creation by seeking a closer walk with Him (Eph. 2:10). As a child of God, just as the sun brings light and warmth to earth, you are called to reflect Christ's light in the world. You are to reflect the glory of God's amazing creation by judiciously utilising the available resources at your disposal. *REFLECTION:* Celebrate God's glorious creation. *PRAYER:* Thank You, Father, for revealing Yourself to me through creation. Please graciously forgive all our sins, which are many, and give us Your peace. We belong to You as Your children, and we owe You the best honor, obedience, and service that we can give. Help us to fulfill our obligations and meet our responsibilities. We thank You for Your goodness to us throughout this past week. You have showered us with blessings from Your bountiful hand. You have given us many favors, some of which have come in the form of trials, burdens, disappointments, and losses. But we know that these are also gifts from You, meant to bring good and blessing into our lives. Give us the grace to accept whatever You send, knowing that Your love can only give us what is ultimately good for us. Even if the cup is bitter, help us to accept it with faith. We long for deeper and richer blessings for our home. We want to become more like our Savior. May our home life be filled with sanctifying influences. May our human love for each other deepen our love for You. Help us to live together with patience, thoughtfulness, and unselfishness, always seeking to do good to one another. Come and be our guest, O Lord, just as You were a guest in the home at Bethany, bringing comfort, love, and blessing. Come and bless our home in the same way.
