BEING CONTENT WITH GOD'S FAITHFULNESS

A WORD FROM THE WORD:

"Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, 'I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.'" Hebrews 13:5 NLT.

One of the major reasons people, even practising Christians do not follow the LORD Jesus duly is because they don't believe that He is able to help them navigate the societal pressures of wealth accumulation and material possessions, the other being aligning with the Kingdom lifestyle among others. The LORD God admonishes that we should not love money, but to be content with what He has given us.
God has vowed not to abandon us, but note that it must be realised according to His divine protocols. There might be hard times when you would feel emotionally and financially stressed, being content with His faithfulness would be very helpful in navigating the challenges.

Growing up as a young new believer, I had thought I was missing something in the world by my profession of faith in the LORD Jesus Christ. It was when I became a "son" I realised that nothing good has passed/will pass me by because of the choice I made to follow the LORD Jesus.
The encouragement for you today as a believing child of God is this: be rest assured that there's nothing good that will pass you by because of your faith in Christ Jesus, and your choice to follow Him; but please follow Him all the way, even where there seem to be no way and through the desert/wilderness of life.

He knows the way. You will never be stranded, that's a sure guarantee from Him.

PRAYER BULLETS:

Thank You LORD Jesus, for Your comforting assurances on my walk and work with You. My present and future are safe with You.
Engrace me to follow You all the way, and all my life.

FURTHER READING:

Deuteronomy 31:6, 8; Genesis 28:15; Hebrews 4:16; 13:6; Psalm 55:22; 84:11.
