*🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 6*
* DATE: 6TH JANUARY, 2026*
*TOPIC: SEE YOURSELF THE WAY GOD SEE'S YOU*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: NUMBERS 13:33 —NKJV*
“ *And there we saw the giants… and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.”*
*Devotional Message*
Many believers make themselves look smaller than the problems they are going through. As a result, many never enter their God-ordained destiny because they give up too easily and allow the situation they are in to overcome them. The problem does not defeat them—their perception does.
When the children of Israel were about to enter and possess the Promised Land, Moses sent spies to survey the land. Upon returning, most of the spies downgraded themselves in their own eyes. They said they were like grasshoppers compared to the giants they were supposed to displace. They magnified the problem and minimized themselves, forgetting the God who brought them out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
However, Joshua and Caleb had a different spirit. They saw the same giants, but they also saw God’s power. They knew that victory did not depend on size, strength, or numbers, but on God’s promise. Their confidence was not in themselves but in the Lord who had already assured them of victory.
Child of God, it does not matter what problem you find yourself in today. Victory is the language of a believer. Jesus Himself tells us in the Gospels to be of good cheer because He has overcome the world. If Jesus has overcome, then we also overcome, because the same Jesus now dwells inside us.
The Apostle John reminds us that “greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.” This means there is no situation, challenge, sickness, delay, or opposition in this world that can defeat you as long as you remain in Christ. There is always a way out for those who are in Jesus.
Even the pain you may be going through now cannot be compared to the glory that awaits you. What is required of you is to maintain your faith in God. Do not allow the problem to redefine who God is in your life. Agree with what God is doing, not with your own understanding or the report of fear.
See yourself the way God sees you—an overcomer, not a victim. Refuse to downgrade yourself. Your destiny is bigger than your current situation.
*Prayer*
Father, forgive me for every time I magnified my problems more than Your power. Help me to see myself the way You see me. Strengthen my faith to stand firm and not give up. I declare that I am an overcomer through Christ who lives in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
